Light Adventures was commissioned in 2025 by Skodvin Skulemusikk to mark the ensemble’s 50th anniversary in 2026. The piece is based on two main themes with a melodic and optimistic harmonic character. The thematic material is developed throughout the work, which consists of three connected sections played without breaks.
Light Adventures is well suited both as a competition piece and as a larger concert work.
