Blue Lights

Blue Lights ble skrevet til daværende Sogn og Fjordane Brass Band (SFBB). Stykket er basert rundt korpsets initialer (SFBB), overført til notebildet: Ess F Bb Bb. Siden det er en blues og korpslederen på den tiden var lensmann måtte tittelen bli «Blue Lights».

The piece is based on the band’s initials (SFBB), translated into musical notes: Eb F B b Bb. Since it is a blues piece and the bandleader at the time was a police officer, the title had to be «Blue Lights».

«Blue Lights» was written for Sogn og Fjordane Brass Band (SFBB) in Norway.
