A Time to Dance var en del av Eikanger-Bjørsvik Band sitt Siddis-program 2025: A Time for Time. Satsen er en hyllest til dans og spilleglede, og er bygget over to montunoer med tilhørende tumbao. Et utadvendt sceneoppsett anbefales, med kornettrekkene sentrert og vendt mot publikum, horn og euphonium/bariton til venstre for dirigenten, og tromboner og tuba til høyre.
De repeterte åpningstaktene i slagverk kan benyttes til å gjennomføre dette oppsettet. Alternativt kan satsen starte direkte i takt 5.

A Time to Dance was part of Eikanger-Bjørsvik Band’s Siddis programme in 2025: A Time for Time. The movement is a celebration of dance and musical joy, built around two montunos with an accompanying tumbao. An outward-facing stage setup is recommended, with the cornet section centered and directed towards the audience, horns and euphonium/baritone to the conductor’s left, and trombones and tuba to the right.
The repeated opening bars in the percussion can be used to facilitate this transition. Alternatively, the movement may begin directly at bar 5.
